Overview

The SY-400 Access Controller works as part of a complete labor management system. The SY-400 is an access controller for control of up to two doors, turnstyles, gates, or other barriers. Up to two separate badge / biometric readers may be connected to the SY-400. Each reader may be used to open and record the use of a different access point or both may be connected to different sides of the same access point for independent control over entrances and exits..

How It works

The SY-400 is an intermediary component commonly used in many of our access control systems. The SY-400 uses an access control list derived from settings in the InfiniTime Labor Management System which specifies to whom and when access is permitted. When a user attempts to gain access using an attached badge/ biometric reader, the SY-400, compares the identity of the user to its internal list. Once the identity is confirmed and schedule validated, the SY-400 activates its internal relay which opens the door / electronic lock / turnstyle / etc. The SY-400 logs all activity which is downloaded to InfiniTime via a high speed TCP/IP connection where it can be analyzed, logged and reported.
