Overview
-
The Apollo is our budget interactive
data collection terminal. The two line display gives the user
interactive use of the terminal to record time& attendance activity, tips, accruals,
facility access control, print reports, and more. The
on-screen menus allow supervisors to insert, edit, or delete activity. These same menus allow employees
to view an in/out board, view their activity, and review
their accrual totals. The Apollo can be configured as an access
control, Time & Attendance data collection device.
When not being used for access control, the Apollo can
also be configured to ring bells with the optional internal
relay. The Apollo has many methods for data entry. The Apollo can be equipped with
Synel proximity, barcode or magnetic strip reader. The Apollo
also has a keypad that can be used for data collection. The Apollo has four different ways to connect
to the InfiniTime Labor Management System. The Apollo can communicate via RS-232 (Direct to PC),RS-485 (Direct to PC), TCP/IP Ethernet
(Network), or Modem (Telephone). This allows the Apollo
to fit seamlessly into any computing environment.

How It Works
-
User friendly interactive menus make the Apollo very easy to use. The internal menu system allows users to quickly choose the activity they want to perform. From department transfers to
entering tip amounts, the menu walks the user through the entire
process. The same menu system allows supervisors to perform time inserts, edits,
and deletes at the terminal itself. Which eliminates the need
for supervisors to have a computer to do routine functions. The Apollo is capable of gathering user
information in several ways. The keypad allows the employee
to enter a unique PIN and password or the employee can
use a badge. The Apollo is a “swipe and go" system
and employees never need to select “in or out” during the Time & Attendance process. The data collected by the Apollo terminal is
then sent to the InfiniTime Labor Management System. With
InfiniTime detailed reports can be generated, exceptions
tracked, and data passed on to payroll for check processing.

Applications
-
The Apollo is capable of performing multiple
roles in your organization. The Apollo can be configured to
simultaneously provide access control and time& attendance. This makes the Apollo prime for
a fast return on investment. The Apollo’s flexibility is premier. With four
different connection methods and the four ways it collects data, the Apollo fits in the infrastructure of
any organization. The Apollo is a key element to the InfiniTime
Labor Management system and pays for itself with the return
on investment that it provides. The Apollo is one of only a few business purchases that pays
for itself in no time at all!!!
