Overview The Thor is a favorite in our line of
data collection terminals with a surplus of user friendly features. Not only
does the Thor function as a pin entry or proximity badge reader, but it also
comes equipped with ability to interact with your users directly from the
clock. They can see their schedule request time off, print time cards and
much more. But its all at your discretion. Only let users use certain
functions and lock out the rest. The Thor is also capable of performing
access control functions. Use the relay contacts for alarms, bells, locks,
exit switches etc. The Thor also comes with an internal bell scheduler
allowing you to use the internal speaker to signal the start, end and break
times. The large LCD provides maximum readability, and the on-board speaker
provides audible confirmation of a complete or incomplete transaction. The Thor sends the time and attendance
data to the InfiniTime Labor Management System in five possible ways. The first way uses the RS-232 direct
connection method. Secondly, TCP/IP Ethernet for communication over a
network. Third, data can be downloaded via external USB drive. Optionally a Wi-Fi
device can be purchased for wireless communication and finally a cellular
option is available for off site communication How
It works The Thor is simple and fun to operate.
The 65,000 color LCD Display makes completing tasks easy. Simply follow the directions on the
screen to complete a transaction. Employees can either enter a pin number or
swipe a proximity badge which clocks the employee in and gives them a verbal
and visual confirmation. Users can also access their time card, request time
off, see who is clocked in/out, see their schedule, print reports to an
external receipt printer (optional) and much more. Its the most productive
time clock available! The data collected by the Thor terminal
is then sent to the InfiniTime Labor Management System. With InfiniTime 7.0, detailed reports can
be generated, exceptions tracked, and data passed on to payroll for check
processing, data export and more. Applications The Thor holds thousands of employees,
and over 30,000 punch transactions, making the Thor a good fit for almost any organization.
Using the Proximity badge technology makes the users punching process quick
and easy; giving you the ability to process large groups of employees. The Thor can be mounted to a wall for
permanent time tracking in a single location or used as a mobile device where
there is no physical connectivity to the InfiniTime Software. Simply download
data via external USB Drive. The Thor
also doubles as an access control device. With four different connection methods,
access control capabilities and the two ways it collects data makes the Thor
